Build the operation behind the deals other firms walk away from.
Blue Peak Ventures solves the real estate problems most companies won't touch: complex title issues and distressed properties across South Carolina. We're early stage, founder led, and we use modern tools, including AI, to actually get the work done.
Whoever joins next won't be handed a finished playbook. You'll help write it, and you'll have better tools to do the job than the title alone suggests.
If you'd rather build the system than follow one, and you want real ownership of outcomes instead of a narrow lane, we want to talk to you. Doesn't matter if you're actively job hunting or not.
// What we're building
Most real estate companies compete for the same easy properties, which means thin margins and work that's been done the same way for years. We go after the deals that are legally and operationally messy, the ones other firms won't touch, because that's where there's actually room to build something. Less competition for us. For you, work that stretches your judgment instead of running someone else's playbook, and a real hand in solving problems that don't have a template yet.
We're a North American company, built remotely from day one, with a team based across Canada and the United States.
Blue Peak was founded in October 2024. In our first year we closed deals in more than a dozen states, which told us the model works. Now we're doing something less common: narrowing on purpose. Instead of staying spread across the country, we're building the deepest curative title operation in South Carolina first. When the time is right, we'll expand into other states, and we'll add the people and capabilities to support that growth as it happens. That's not just a hiring plan, it's a career path: the people who join now are the ones best positioned to grow into leading what comes next. There are five of us right now, and these four roles are the next step.
Why join now
You'd be joining before the company's shape is set.
We proved the model works in year one, with deals closed across a dozen-plus states. Now we're going deep instead of wide, building South Carolina into the strongest curative title operation in the state. What that looks like at ten people, then twenty, hasn't been decided yet. You'd help decide it.
A performance based incentive program that rewards the team when the company performs.
When Blue Peak is profitable and hitting its goals, that success gets shared directly with the people who made it happen. It's real upside, tied to real results.
Direct access to a founder who's curious, sharp, and genuinely forward-looking.
Teagan spent almost three years in commercial HVAC before deciding to build something of his own. No real estate background, no formal training. He taught himself through webinars, books, and online courses starting in late 2024, quit his job that October, and closed his first deal five months later. Less than a year in, Blue Peak had closed deals in more than a dozen states. Working closely with someone who built that from nothing, and who keeps pushing the business forward with that same curiosity, is one of the real reasons to join now. There's no ego here and no bureaucracy standing between you and doing the work.
And the work itself is real.
Blue Peak reopened a closed estate to buy from a sole heir after other buyers walked away. Untangled a foreclosure sale with an occupant and a lien stacked on top of each other. Coordinated a six-heir estate split across two family branches where the paperwork and the deeds no longer matched. These deals already closed. Full case studies are at bluepeak-ventures.com/deals.
// How we work
A bold, technology-driven approach to complex problems.
Our team is based across Canada and the United States, working Central and Eastern time hours. Everyone works remotely, but that overlap keeps us moving together during the day.
We take a modern approach to how we operate. AI is part of how work gets done here, not an afterthought bolted onto old processes. If you want to be at the front of that shift instead of catching up to it later, you'll feel at home fast.
We hire for curiosity and for people who can solve a problem without a template, more than for years of experience following someone else's playbook. Most of what we do hasn't been done before at this company, so the people who do well here would rather find a better way than ask where the existing process lives.
Even though the problems we solve are complex, we keep how we operate simple. No unnecessary layers, no bureaucracy, no ego. Just clear ownership and people who get things done.
Every role here is fully remote, and we treat that as a real, valuable part of what we offer, not an afterthought. Market research puts the value of remote work at roughly 10% of an employee's total compensation. We're not asking you to give that up. We hire the best person for the work, wherever they live.
Once a year, the whole team gets together in person. We invest in that time deliberately, because building real relationships and shared understanding face to face makes the rest of the year, working remotely, work better.
How we hire
These are the things we actually hire for, whatever the role.
01
High agency.
You see what needs doing and start. You don't wait to be handed every next step.
02
Bring a recommendation.
When the situation is unclear, you gather the facts, weigh the real options, and recommend a path.
03
Own the outcome.
You stay with the work until it's actually resolved.
04
Use urgency with judgment.
You can tell the difference between genuinely time-sensitive work and noise, and move fast when it counts.
05
High standards, low ego.
You care about getting it right, especially when the details carry legal, financial, or human consequences.
06
Build systems that stick.
When work repeats, you turn it into a clearer process, tool, or automation.
07
Move with the curve, not behind it.
The tools change fast. You don't wait for training to catch up. You try what's new, and bring back what actually works.
// The people
We're planning to add a short video from Teagan here: why he started Blue Peak, and why the principles above are the actual standard, not just words on a page.
// What you'll get
Pay and support, matched to how you actually work. Since we hire across Canada and the U.S., one benefits package doesn't cover everyone, so here's what applies where.
All roles
- Paid at or above market for your role and region.
- Fully remote. Always.
- A home office setup allowance, so you're properly equipped rather than picking off an approved list.
- A performance based incentive: when Blue Peak is profitable and performing well, the team shares in it directly.
- Paid vacation and personal days.
Canada-based roles (Business Operations Manager, Executive Assistant)
- A flexible Health Care Spending Account and Wellness Spending Account. You decide where it goes: physio, therapy, a gym membership, whatever actually helps.
- Canadian statutory holidays.
U.S.-based roles (South Carolina Real Estate and Litigation Attorney, Transaction Coordinator)
- We're still working out a benefits stipend for U.S.-based roles. We'll walk through where that stands during the interview.
- Company holidays observed.
Full pay details, including the range, are listed in each individual job posting.
// What happens next
Our process is straightforward, though the exact steps can shift a bit depending on the role. In general: we review your application and set up a short call if it looks like a fit, then move into a deeper interview from there. Most roles include a practical assignment, so we can see how you actually think and work, not just how you interview. From there it's a final conversation, an offer, and reference and background checks before you start.
// Always looking
If you want to work at Blue Peak and don't see an open role that fits right now, we still want to hear from you. Send a short video along with your resume: tell us why you want to work here, and what you'd bring to the table that would actually move the needle.
